DEATHSTARS: Promotional Videos Posted Online

March 31, 2004

Sweden's DEATHSTARS have made downloadable versions of their two promotional videos (for the tracks "Synthetic Generation" and "Syndrome") available via their official web site. Check them out here.

As previously reported, DEATHSTARS' debut album, "Synthetic Generation" — originally issued in Sweden in March 2002 via the Universal affiliate LED Recordings — was released through Nuclear Blast last November.

The Swedish band, in existence since January 2000, were previously known as SWORDMASTER and feature in their ranks former DISSECTION drummer Ole Öhman and guitarist Emil Nödtveidt (brother of DISSECTION leader Jon). The group's musical style is being described as "powerful industrial metal," and is said to be not a million miles removed from that of PAIN, RAMMSTEIN and MARILYN MANSON.
